That's interesting. But I assume that does not mean ALL of Zegna's glasses are manufactured under that contractor, specially considering the glasses on this drop are supposedly made in Japan.

LeoiPossibly. I'm not certain where Marcolin's factories or sub-contractors are located. You'd need word from an industry insider to know what's really going on behind the scenes. Personally I like Safilo's sunglasses (Carrera, Polaroid, Fossil etc...)... Mostly because they seem to fit me best.

why is the discrepancy between the prices so big? I don't see that very often, but im not sure where they are sourced from

Just want to say there is a listing for these on Amazon for same price, but looking at pictures I Think they are counterfeit.
