The Fostex TM2C TWS Earphones pack a veritable laundry list of functionality—one that’s significantly longer than that of most headphones, thanks to a three-piece modular build. The earphones themselves house a 6-millimeter dynamic driver that’s been hand-selected and tuned by Fostex to deliver clarity and punch. However, thanks to a detachable MMCX mini port paired with a behind-the-ears receiver unit for each ear, the TM2C (or part of it) can connect to any of your MMCX-connected IEMs—folding true wireless functionality into whatever earphones you love. That battery unit features Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with aptX codec compatibility, courtesy of a Qualcomm QCC3026 chip for superb wireless transmission—plus, you can pair the TM2C receiver with the Fostex app to further customize the EQ and widen your soundstage with the “Landscape” mode. The TM2C ships with an external protective charging case that loads up the receivers with a total of 40 functional hours of listening battery life.
