Well designed and constructed of excellent materials. Grinds consistently and efficiently. Attractive to boot. A tool that performs it's function very well. Ignore the nitpicking. It grinds coffee, for God's sake. It works. Grind your coffee and move on with your life...

The nice quality ceramic burrs produce a very consistent grind and the grind arm is long enough to not cause fatigue even if grinding for a few minutes. The grind size adjustment being on top is an enormous convenience, letting me make adjustments on the fly, and the grounds cup being clear lets me see just how much has already been ground without having to unsecure it.
My only issues are minor: the grind levels could be a bit closer together. I find myself constantly in want of a grind just between 2 and 3, but going with the 3 isn't bad by any means. Also the screw-on grounds cup will sometimes get stuck -- accidentally snapped the handle off because it was just so firmly caught on loose grounds or something.

This is an excellent grinder with a minor ergonomics issue. I use it for pour-over method, I'd say medium to medium-fine grind. Pros: I got this grinder from last drop two months ago and have been using it every day in the office, sometimes twice a day. The grind has been very consistent. It grinds really quickly and the crank arm is long and easy to turn. No cleaning required; I just blow off the flakes from the burr after each grind. It is well built and feels nice in the hands. Looks really good too. Cons: It's definitely not the most ergonomic design, it requires some lower arm strength. Someone with smaller hands will have harder time gripping it. I place the grinder on tabletop while grinding and I tend to hold it closer to the top to stabilize it. As you can see from pictures, the diameter increases toward the top and that's the main problem for me. I'd say I have medium-sized hands and I definitely got used to it after few uses. Overall, I think for $36 it's an amazing deal. My first grinder was the JavaPresse manual grinder I got on amazon for $24, and GEFU Lorenzo is a major upgrade in every respect. I am now thinking about getting a second one to have one for home and one for office.

Not sure if I have really dry hands or physical limitations, but I'm having a terrible time trying to grip the body of the ginder in my hand while grinding. I end up turning the whole ginder in my hands instead of grinding the beans. I tried using the arm of the cup as leverage. This works, but now I've effectively tightened the screw on the cup adding another conundrum of trying to unscrew it from the grinder. What a pain. I wish the stainless steel body was easier to hold on to. I have to use silicon baking mitts to get a proper hold on it. I might try wrapping some electrical tape around it to add grip. IMO, this isn't something I should have to resort to.
Aside from this frustrating user issue, the grinder is pretty decent. It's reasonably compact for travel and the grind is quite consistent compared to my off-brand hario grinder leading to a good cup of pour over.

Great value
Great value for a small grinder. Been dailying it for almost a year before I started realising inconsistencies with the grind size. Was great while it lasted, about time I’ve upgraded to an electronic one.

Good small grinder
I have used this grinder almost daily for about 2 years. Using it only for coffee, it has performed quite well for me. I've used it primarily for pour over, but also auto-drip and French press. I will say that now, it does seem to work its way from my preferred setting, to the next one larger quite slowly, like over several days. But I'm completely satisfied with that amount of play after the amount of use I've gotten from it. As for design, it is pretty simple. I suppose it would make more sense for my use case if the base/foot part was integrated with the cup at the bottom, but that is a choice, and I suppose it could be nice to not have that if used while backpacking. I started typing this with four stars filled out, but I really cant fault anything about it, the price was right, it performed consistently for years, and in general filled its purpose for me. I'm sure it has several more years of good use left.

What an amazing little grinder
I've had this grinder for a year and a half now, and it's still going strong with almost daily use. 0 complaints so far, still. If you want a cheap, budget manual grinder for yourself, there's hardly any other better options. And, truly, the only way you can find a better grinder is if you get an automatic one(i.e., more expensive).

Love this coffee grinder/brewer
I've used this on numerous backpacking trips and the coffee grind and brew quality rivals my home setup with a chemex brewer. I love the included burr grinder and how it all packs up into a small, lightweight package.

Good design, eh materials, okay grinder, great value
I have liked using this grinder. It is a real upgrade form the basic hario burr grinder I had. The drive shaft is stabilized which is good, and I like the grind adjustment (although doesn't offer very fine control of the grind size). The grind catch is a little small. I think for the price it is fantastic, but it doesn't compete with the consistency of higher end steel burr hand grinders. Perhaps it is unfair to compare. For 90% of people, if your grinding you beans, bravo and this piece will do just fine.

If your really looking for an espresso grinder, than it's gunna be tough to find at this price point. I think this is a great value for the money. I myself wish I had the budget for a lido 3 or something, but I don't. So I have this and I am happy overall. If money is no object for you, you can do better. If things are tight (like myself) then it is worth what they are asking for.
