Because if it's any day of the week, that ends in "Y"--it's Glycine Day on MD!

Probably the most disappointing Drop “deal” yet. These are all available for $379 from eBay’s longtime favorite Glycine dealer.

Another example of MD's lather, rinse, and repeat drop postings. I used to think they were handled by people who knew nothing about watches. Now I think they're handled by people who know nothing about watches and a little less about math.

Good marketing strategy; MSRP of nearly $2000. Now For the low, low price of around 500 clams.... brilliant.

I'm sure they're guenuine. But these are all models that were redesigned after Invicta took Glycine over, they had a very different design before. I wouldn't be surprised Invicta forgot to change their caseback engraving mold and left the old number of jewels there. I'm being sarcastic, but to me the brand died a little after the take-over.

Mine, which I treat with a great deal of care, stopped worked without warning within 6 months. Once I paid the $50 to have it shipped and inspected, I was told that it was my fault it wasn't working and it'd be an extra $200 to have it fixed. So while I saved a good deal of money with the drop and love my watch beyond reason, the price post-repair is approaching common retail.

Small update: I’ve found my Airman to be 4.3s slow every 24h. It’s not terrible, but still worth mentioning. Also, the 42 hour power reserve is a bit misleading: sure, it may still be ticking after 42 hours, but it won’t be anywhere near accurate after the first 24 hours of non-movement.
Posted for future buyers.

I have a Breitling that loses about 3 seconds every month. Individual mechanisms can vary, etc. But if you want to troll what was meant to be an informative post for future buyers of Glycine, then obviously there’s no stopping you.

Not trolling but putting your comment in to context for future buyers. Not sure what having a Breitling has anything to do with it, but good for you.

Minor nit pick: this watch shipped unbelievably quickly. Normally that's a good thing, but when you're told that a luxury item like this is going to ship during the first week of December and you're not home when it arrives on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, anxiety follows.
I went with the GL0057 for its 44mm dial. I ditched the blue band in favor of a brown one with a deployant clasp. I'm very pleased with the result!
