Good pen, for what you're looking at

As many say, the ink cartridges are quite small. The bolt handle does come loose, and you have to keep screwing it back in. I put some gun lube on my bolt, and it completely eliminated the metal on metal grating feel that the pen came with. Very comfy. If you want a good bolt action pen, I'd look at this one.

There's more whatever in this than pen, with such a small ink cartridge. The writing isn't all that great, but definitely functional. Action is great after a little working, tweaked my spring some. Cool to have around.

I love how it looks and how weighty it feels in the hand. Not the best feel writing-wise (ink flow etc), but it’s a nice multi-function pen to have while out there on the road or on adventures.

They look and feel great, but the action isn't so smooth

I bought two of these as gifts, but decided to check them out for myself. One of them seems flawless, but the other one won't deploy the tip when I throw the bolt, unless I unscrew the tip sleeve a little. Seems like something was just a little out of tolerance on the machining for this one, and definitely unexpected given the price and hype. Now I need to figure out how to address this before I give it as a gift. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

The writing experience is great! The pen is thicker than I would like and the grip gets slippery too. The bolt action makes a great fidget.

I really like the pen

So I bought this on a whim. Alright that being said. I do like it. the weight is what does it for me. also it is fun just opening and closing. I will not necessarily carry it with me every where but I will use it more then I originally thinking. I am going to buy another one just to have in the care for a glass breaker.
