HammerWorks CRP Tulip/Peacock R3 Dye-Subbed PBT Keycaps

Hey fellow keyboard clackers, I'm excited to announce that Tulip and Peacock are back from popular community feedback a few weeks ago (and I mean a lot of comments and tags ....) I've been working with Hammer to bring it back with a few modifications from last year's run. Some important things to note:

Both white kits (HHKB/Pad) are made to accommodate and match the colors of the Japanese-Black Pink set from the other drop
Grey matches the mod colors of Russian Kit form other drop, Tulip and Peacock
Beige will match the grey mod colors and cream alphas of Tulip and Peacock

Hope that clarifies things! Also to note - since this is separate from the other R3 drop, logistically we will not be able to combine orders. The association between everyones' orders regarding shipping information will be very tedious and difficult to do. However, the vendor has told me that they will ship both orders at the same time which means both drops should arrive roughly around the same time at your doorsteps. Stay safe!

I'm sure we'll get the good 'ole "item failed to ship on time" email 2 days after the original shipping date, and maybe a "heartfelt" update about a manufacturing delay because of Covid or some such 5 days after that. My guess is a 2 month delay. Hammer totally ghosted last time but still got the sets made, so even if he's the problem we shouldn't have to rely entirely on him for updates (when Drop is the one that paid him and knows how to contact him).

SpencerLSpencer, We're now at the date of delivery. You have not said a word about the status of these sets since June. Can we please have an update?

Hey there Hammer, I mentioned this on the IC for the last round with BSP, so I'm not sure if that's being monitored still. Anyway, in the HHKB kit you have the 'Delete' key as an alpha color, however, on the actual HHKB and nearly every other keycap set with proper HHKB compatibility this is a modifier colored key. Is there any chance you can make this key modifier colored for this drop?

I appreciate your insight! However, the logic there just doesn't seem to make much sense to me as the HHKB kit (1) has no 'Tab' just 'Delete' so there shouldn't be interference in that regard and (2) already has a mix of alpha and modifier colored keys. Either way, I'm glad to hear that his team is looking into it, fingers crossed they can get it right :)

I think the answer is clear then. Double the price and lets do this! -- kind of kidding but kind of serious. -- $120 for the exact set people want is still kind of a good deal. everyone wins.

Hi everyone, I apologize for the lack of transparency and updates on behalf of this product. I am fully aware that every member who joined this keycap set has been feeling anxious and uneasy about the progress on their shipment. For the past few months, we have been having communication issues with any updates on the manufacturing and shipment of the keycaps from the vendor side. I was personally asked from some members of the community whether the product is still happening and from the last update, the keycaps have been sent to our warehouse. At the moment, we are now running a check on the inventory to ensure that everyone gets the correct kit or options that they ordered. It has been a long wait and this is one of the few cases where I personally informed my coworkers that the community would be more receptive to waiting for this product instead of having it canceled and refunded. Thank you for your patience and hopefully everyone will receive their order soon, but I will be sure to include any updates along the way.

The best part about joining a group buy is forgetting about it and be pleasantly surprised when they show up. Unfortunately in this case it seems the vendor kinda forgot about it as well.

I received my package in the mail today, and most of it looks good, but I purchased the grey HHKB kit, which stated here would include a row 1 beige (alpha colored) pipe key as well as the mod colored one. I have only received the mod colored one, and wanted to post here to check if anyone had the same issue.

Echoing this. Unfortunately, I'm pretty disappointed by the handling of this situation. It would have been much better if Drop had just been honest from the beginning and said they weren't going to include the alpha pipe. Again, like @Hypnotyk has already said, it invalidates the HHKB kit.
