Any news on when this is gonna ship? Ordered beginning of May last year (5/8/21) but still haven’t gotten them as it’s now Jan.2, 2022. Some updates would be appreciated.
PickleTicklesNo problem, and yea, hoping it wasn't a mistake on Drop's part and they just found some extras in their warehouse. Does happen here and there I've noticed, always goes so fast if it's something like this, but they certainly aren't immune to mistakes either haha. If it was an accident though, so be it. As long as I get a refund lol.
Forgot to mention, once R4 is done with manufacturing and arrives at vendors, there's a decent chance for extras that'll be cheaper than the average aftermarket price, either here on Drop or on Hammerworks site SyrupLabs (possibly others, can't quite remember who all ran that round). I'd definitely keep an eye out for that as well if you can find updates on when they'll land :)
Other than the lack of updates and delayed delivery time I also didn't like how the "=+" key is not like the one in the render/model pictures. It does match the one in the full layout of the keycaps but still a bit misleading. Overall the keycaps are still nice, just those issues leave me with a subpar experience.
Mc_EggrollsThat's crazy misleading! I was freaking out about it until I saw your post here. The version with the =+ legends in the first pictures looks better IMO. Now to see what they do about the white pipe key in the grey hhkb kit. :\
Mc_Eggrollsif I remember correctly, that is because the pictures of Tulip are actually from round 2, where it did have those legends on the += key. In round 2.2 run by Syruplabs, it did not have those legends, which continued over to round 3.
