With an abundance of indigo dye and cotton, Indonesia has long been at the forefront of batik production. So it’s no surprise that this island nation has recently been making waves in the denim world, too. For those who want to know what Indonesian denim is all about, we’re excited to offer a limited run of jeans from relative newcomer Hanzo. Established in 2013, this rising star has been lighting up the blogosphere with high-quality fabrics and amazing fades—two qualities you’ll discover in the company’s slim-modern 710 jeans, made with 14-ounce sanforized selvage denim.
Note: These jeans are made to order. At checkout, you’ll have your choice of size. They run one size small, so we strongly suggest sizing up. Because they're sanforized, shrinkage will be minimal. This drop is limited to 50 units.
Crafted by a single artisan, these red-line selvage jeans are made of 100-percent ringspun cotton and sewn with SSP thread. The fabric has a blue indigo color with a slightly slubby texture, and at 14 ounces, it’s just the right weight for everyday toughness and comfort. The interior of the pockets is made from broken white twill, the rear patch from cowhide, and the washer burr rivets from copper. And for protection against thieves, the reinforced rear pockets are designed to be a bit snugger internally. Each pair comes with a booklet providing additional information about the jeans.
Estimated ship date is Sep 8, 2017 PT.
Payment will be collected at checkout. After this product run ends, orders will be submitted to the vendor up front, making all orders final.
