When a couple of my friends got Airpods, I decided to get these, in hopes I could have the same functionality at a lower price point, without the name brand.
Boy, was I disappointed. These seemed to work fine at first, but then I realized that there was a significant delay between my phone and these earphones. This rendered it basically impossible to watch any video, be it Netflix, Youtube, or even just videos on my phone, which is my main use for earphones. Additionally, had difficulty connecting after having them for only a month or so, and eventually seemed to stop charging completely. Despite having them plugged in regularly, they were never charged when I finally took them out of the case.
Total POS earphones, don't waste your money.
There's a lot to like about like about this product, but I also been having some flaws with it as well.
Likes: Great price for overall smaller budget wireless
Generally waterproof when I exercised in the rain or intense sweating
Quick pairing between different devices
Good sound overall for the price
Not too heavy for comfort
Comes with different size ear tips
Dislikes: Somewhat bulky at times
Charging can take a while both base and earpieces
Smaller battery capacity
Connection can get choppy at times
Sometimes frustrating to only pair and use one earpiece
Carrying/Charging case seems and feels a bit cheap on design
Really short charging cable
First impressions of this product are: Comfortable they sound great for the price point and dont notice them in my ear really. Only real negtative i can think of is the case feels cheap and flimsy like if i drop it on to concrete once its over, but for the price i was kinda expecting it. And as far as the Bluetooth connection range, I have had no issues with range or connection so far looks like its the luck of the draw.
They're pretty ok. The sound nice, but they've only lasted me a couple hours. The bluetooth connection isn't terribly strong, and that's frustrating. I've had issues with them in the charging case. They ended up discharging themselves over the last week.
I ended up with a different brand of wireless headphones that I'm really enjoying for the same $70-80 that I paid for these.
Pros:
-Great value for the price.
-They charge in the case.
-Sound quality is good
Cons:
-Connection issues while riding bike (either because of fast moving or interference)
So they're not biking headphones, they're still good around the house, car, office, or if not moving much in the gym.
There seem to be some QA issues with some of these earphones, typical with $40 devices, but they work great for my use case.
My main use is running outside, in parks, trails, etc. They fit fine in my ears, I know that's a lot of YMMV with IEMS but you can change the earbuds to find the perfect fit. I was using some wireless PowerBeats 2, and I like that I don't have to worry about wires. The only thing I miss is being able to skip songs. But they are fine for podcasts or when you pick a good playlist.
Bought these for the wife and myself for the gym. At less than $40, I feel like these were a bargain. The fit is comfortable and secure, the sound is very good, Bluetooth range seems better than average and battery life is acceptable.
However, there are some issues...being able to charge the headphones in the case seems like a great idea but the execution falls short...this is extremely frustrating. After turning the individual earbuds off and setting them into the case to charge, they constantly turn back on and auto-connect to your device. This drains battery without you knowing and I usually don’t find out until I need them.
We started keeping them out of the case and it seems to have resolved the problem. Just charge after every second use. Kind of defeats the purpose of the case.
UPDATE: I originally rated these 3/5 but had to drop to 2/5...when these work they’re great. That’s the problem. I gave up on mine and the other pair won’t count to each other. Bluetooth range is bad. Battery life is 3-4 hrs and I can never count on them for more than 1 full workout. I would only recommend these if they were half the price.
I decided to go with JLAB- Jbuds Air and they are everything I hoped these would be for only $50. Up to date Bluetooth, better sound and better battery life as a result of the charging case design actually made to work.
