Don't you think it'll sound hollow if there is no foam included like in the IDOBAO ID67?

LouwiiSomewhat. It depends on how thick you pour it. I did it on my son's Tofu 60 acrylic case and it came out nice but that is frosted (not fully translucent). Still, if you're careful and tape things off well, DIY silicone dampening comes out very nice.
