The most popular glacier sunglasses from Julbo, a French company that’s been making ‘em for more than 125 years, the Explorer 2.0 sunglasses take everything—and we mean everything—up a notch. They’re slimmer, more ergonomic, and more stylish than their predecessors, with a ventilating design, a large area of coverage, and removable side shields that protect against glare and help avoid snow blindness Read More
I have been waiting for a Camel lens option to appear, and am excited about this particular drop. One issue though is I have read that for those of us with larger heads some Julbo Sunglass frames have an "XL" option. Is there an XL option for the Explorer 2.0, and if so would it be possible to offer that and some sizing information?
Julbo has a really great portion of their site dedicated to describing the NXT lenses. Originally developed for the military in the 90's, these lenses are super tough and extremely high quality.
DannyMilksThanks for the info, I ended up joining the drop with the Camel lenses. I decided that I really wanted the polarized lenses. Hopefully the 20% light the Camel's top out at isn't too dark.
Hmm, I want to get in on this drop, but I am torn between the Zebra lenses and the Camel lenses. I did some quick research and the Zebra's adjust from 7-42% light but aren't polarized while the Camel's adjust from 5-20% light and are polarized, decisions, decisions.
Mjrulz5Camel lenses let 5-20% light through and are polarized.
Zebra lenses let 7-42% light through and are not polarized.
I assume with all the tall buildings there is a lot of shadows in NYC, so I would probably go for the Zebra lens in that case.
rhenomI'm very interested but still hoping to hear something on sizing. I don't really know enough about purchasing sunglasses and have been hard pressed to find sizing information about these Julbo Explorers.
