I was waiting for this product since nearly 1 year. I bought it and returned it. The sound quality was good. The major problem was the lack of volume. Even at maximum volume it was just not enough for me compared to my four years old Sony MDR-HW700DS home cinema headphones. The Dolby Atmos feature seemed to work but because of the poor volume level it was really not enjoyable to watch a movie with this system compared to watching the same movie even with Dolby true HD sound on the Sony headphones. Another problem is that with this system you can only use one headphone so you cannot watch a movie with your wife. With Sony headphones you can do it. The third problem is that these headphones are a bit heavy and less comfortable than the Sony. The last problem I see is in the price because there are double the price at least compared to the Sony. I am so disappointed by Jvc and other companies who launch new products without improving them compared to existing products. Moreover it seems that most companies have no interest in creating high quality home cinema headphones. Which is disappointing for customers like us. So save your money and don’t believe in all good reviews I have read on internet.

ShakilIf you have a home theater pc, just get a relatively cheap wireless pair of Logitech gaming headphones. Those have dtsx and Dolby 5.1 and 7.1. i don’t know how they would compare, but Logitech makes fairly competent audio equipment. I used to watch movies with a wired usb set, and they were a step up from standard stereo phones. They’re what got me into the headphone hobby.
