Kershaw’s Decibel is loud in appearance and performance, but quiet in stature. Weighing less than 3 ounces, it’s an easy carry anywhere you go Read More
If you're just using this to open packages and maybe for some small crafting jobs then this is pretty good, nice good quality construction that you'd expect from kershaw, but this isn't really a hardcore knife.
I've been using this in my retail job that is mostly cardboard and tape. Perfect size and length while not even feeling it in your back pocket. Helps that since theres no flipper or assisted open no one gets scared!
It’s a good sturdy knife no doubt about that it has a hard way of deployment.
Overall it does what it supposed to do the only thing is that it is hard to get the blade out to use. Like one of the other reviews it’s Old School all right!
Mine is well put together, frame lock works, blade is centered and blade is rigid when deployed.
I like the way It feels in my hand and the blade shape for cutting, balance is pretty much in the middle of the handle.
The action is stiff, and with the relatively light blade, opening it one handed can be tricky, but it’s doable.
I don’t really like the look of the coating, makes it look cheap.
Disappointed by this knife, the frame lock will not hold the blade open at all unless your manually holding it in. Doesn’t say Kershaw or decibel anywhere. Lastly quite heavy for such a small knife.
