It's been fixed. The option for optional ballpoint or rollerball is optional now.
Hmm looking into the checkout issue. Thanks for flagging everyone.

AlexPkHi, is there an ETA on when the checkout issue might be resolved? Thank you.
palisadebluffShould be resolved. Holiday weekend so reply times are a little slow, but thanks for waiting everyone.

Can't seem to place order unless I select the optional ballpoint or rollerball.

I have four Studios, I appreciate their looks, they don't evaporate nearly as quickly as Safaris, and with extra fine nibs make inks consistently come out lighter, which I particularly like with Ama Iro, Kon Peki, Ajisai and Asa Gao; my one with an F nib is a lot more wet. They have the same nibs as Safaris but strangely feel smoother than my seven Vistas, perhaps they go through better quality control. The negatives have been fragile finishes (e.g. where the clip touches the cap), and I had to admit the ones with chromed sections (which isn't the case here) were making me grip them harder because of how slippery they are; for those with a little skill (more than mine) this can be fixed by disassembling them and progressively and lightly sanding down the sections with 2000 to 1000 grit. I emphasize progressively and lightly because I found out the hard way it can be overdone (where's my facepalm emoji??).

Here's to hoping this one doesn't suffer from the slick section of other studios! (which is the main reason I never fell in love with them)

floydfloydWell it's not chrome so that's unlikely.

For some reason I can’t buy this without selecting a ballpoint or rollerball as an add on. Must be a glitch?

Received mine today. Its a very nice pen. The ExFine nib is exactly what I wanted. A bit finer line than my Lamy 2000 Fine nib and not as wet. Not scratchy but a very nice feedback. Some may find it a bit hard, but it's perfect for me. Unfortunately, there's a prob with the cap. It barely, and i mean barely clicks, or snaps on. It requires virtually no force whatsoever to dislodge the cap. No way I would trust clipping it to a shirt pocket. The pen will just fall out of the cap. No way I would trust this pen in any pocket. The cap will come right off. Anyone else have this problem? Lastly, I can't believe a $100 pen does not come with a converter. Seriously?

Got mine today. I don't mind the soft click of the cap, and mine isn't loose. Even with vigorous shaking, it doesn't come off the pen. I was disappointed to not get a converter as well, but if you go back to the listing, it doesn't say it comes with one.

floydfloydYes, i read the listing before buying the pen. However, i still can't believe it doesn't come with a converter. My $15 Lamy Safari did.

Did anyone get their shipping info yet? It was supposed to go out by today and I haven't heard anything.
