Okay, i hope i'll help some people before doing this purchase. Back when the Lou board got announced, i was super hype especially since i loved the size, shape... i really liked it but in fact when i'd order it (the base model) it got delayed multiple times, and after 3 months not recieving my board i decided to cancel my order and get refunded. (just to let you know that one of my friend got it early 2018, it had to be shipped in august 2017 if i'm correct) but that's not the worst part, a cool friend that was a kickstarter guy, so one of the early guy that had it (around September/october) showed me that thing and it's kinda bad not gonna lie. The "grip" thing which is removable is completly trash and not waterproof at all like they said, sometimes remote problems... and speaking of the remote it's bad af too. and i won't talk about the customer service that is god damn slow and bad (got an anwser 1 month after my question). So if you wanna spend that much money on a board of that size, just check the boosted board site, they realeased a skateboard arround that size and around the same price... just don't get this lou board, save your money, thanks. (i didn't talk about the battery life and everything because i'm too busy ...)

You will be happy to hear a lot has happened with LOU in the last year and we now have three customer service departments around the world including one in Irvine, CA for USA customers, making it easy to provide timely service of all types to our customers. In addition, the deck plates have been given an improved attachment system securing the deck in place while you ride while still keeping it easy to swap out a battery on the fly and the battery has been given an overhaul with more power improving the range of LOU. The board has a rating of IP 54 which means it is water resistant. Please tell your friend if he is unsatisfied he should contact us directly so that we can provide a replacement board from the latest batch. It is our fourth iteration of LOU and it is awesome. SoFlowI would definitely pick the lou board 3.0 than the boosted mini s or x those boards are so heavy and bulky the lou board 3.0 is wayyy lighter, faster more range and compact than the boosted mini x. I hope this mass drop sale goes thru..as this is by far the best price for the lou 3.0 i have seen.

Gunnersmate2LOU has a 2 year warranty for the overall board, excluding normal wear and tear on the wheels and the LOU replaceable battery and double hub motor are guaranteed for 1 year.

Also if I don’t buy a deck plate for the extra money what happens? Will I just be shipped a board with exposed battery and esc? Or is the $25 for an EXTRA deck Plate?
