Everything you wanted in the O2 and ODAC is now available in one complete housing. Built with the exact specifications of each standalone unit, the O2+ODAC offers everything audio designer NwAvGuy set out to make in a more compact package. Capable of powering everything from IEMs to HD800s with ease, the O2+ODAC is your all-in-one baseline DAC/AMP combo at an entry-level price. See below for the full list of performance specifications.
Note: This drop is limited to 555 units. At checkout, you can select either the 110V or 220V AC Adapter.
With a highly linear frequency response--+/-0.1 dB from 20Hz-20Khz--the O2 Amplifier section will drive any headphone between 16 and 600 ohms. It's exceptionally low noise floor allows the full range of dynamics to be reproduced well above any audible noise.
The ODAC achieves reference-quality sound across a variety of levels. With a 24-bit resolution to sustain sound quality, even when the software volume is lowered, and a PCM5012A DAC chip, the ODAC can stand up to four-figure converters in a blind listening test. When used in tandem with the O2 amp, the ODAC pumps out completely transparent audio. To reduce jitter and other noise to negligible amounts, the ODAC is equipped with dual power supply, a natural frequency response of +/- 0.1 dB, and self-generated audio clocking.
Looking at the back of the device, you'll see a single set of RCA jacks labeled with symbols for both input and output. This is because when you're using the USB input, the RCA jacks act as output from the ODAC. If you disconnect the USB, you can connect analog input from your favorite DAC straight to the O2.
