I'd like to say that unfortunately the M&D line up are not very comfortable headphones to use. I've owned the Mh40s and returned them almost immediately. The clamp and the size of the ear cup are just unbearable.
zen7I tested the MW60 in a shop recently and personally I didn't find the clamping force too strong (Bower & Wilkins was worse).
So perhaps this model is improved over the MH40 which I didn't try.
However I didn't quite like the sound, that's why I settled on a different Bluetooth headphone in the end.
zen7I would say it definitely depends on shape and size of head, as if anything, I find the clamp to be on the almost-too-loose side for my head, and the ear cup is plenty roomy enough for my ears, which are definitely not small but larger than average. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
zen7interesting. i have the mh40s also and think they are pretty comfortable on my noggin. the headband is admittedly a bit thin, but i put wraps ($10 woven cloth thingie from amazon) on all my headbands for comfort and as a sweat/oil catcher. mh40 clamp force seemed fine to me, and the ear cup size was deep, tall and wide enough for me as well. (fwiw i have pretty sensitive ears -- i can't wear cans if the driver touches my ear or if the inner wall aggravates my piercings.)
obviously everyone has different preferences, though. :)
