Broke after 6 months
Cable broke after 6 months of use - had it on the desk all the time and where the cable seems to be connected between the two colors, it started losing connection upon slightest movement. Poor quality and expensive.

Honestly, it looks nice, but the USB-C connector physically can't even plug into my keyboard. I just submitted a support request with Massdrop, so we'll see what they do about it.

I had purchased this cable before some others, all from Mechcables, arrived with issues; the cables could not be plugged into any of my type-c devices. There has been a fair amount of people who have pointed out the type-c issues with several drops.
I had noticed a user posting in the comments of the first cable to arrive, the Carbon colorway, that the type-c connection could work if you slowly wiggled and forced the cable into a type-c connection several times, but I had already initiated my return process with MD. The next cable that arrived, I tested this out after purchasing a very cheap type-c to usb 3.0 adapter. I have to admit I was surprised when the cable eventually began to fit consistently into the type-c connection, of course after I wiggled and forced it into a type-c connection on something I didn't care about; there was no way I was going to do this on any keyboards or other devices.
This particular cable arrived and I did not need to force it into any adapters to function, so I'm happy about that. I've gotten 3 cables from Mechcables I was thrilled about, 2 I was very disappointed in, and now this one that is slowly getting me back to neutral ground.
I like all of the Mechcables designs thus far, but the consistency of the type-c connectors is now a concern for me; I'm still debating participating in any further drops with Mechcables.

2 stars because the type C connection I got on mine will bot fit inside any ports. I tried on multiple devices and could not get it to go in. Its gets 1 extra star because besides the messed up type c, the rest of it seemed to be decent quality. After waiting so long for this cable its disappointing to have to send it right back.
