The photos seem to show make jacks at both ends. I would have expected a female TRS socket for input, and a male TRRS jack at output. How does it accept a typical earphone's signal?

It looks like its made for headphones with a detachable cable. The male end with the mic will plug directly into the headphones (where a standard Male-to-male cable would normally be plugged in)...Read More
