Solid mic and cable

Good mic for work conf calls and nice braided cable. Overall comparable to the vmoda mic. I mainly bought this for the 2.5 to 3.5mm adapter for my sennheiser hd598’s but it did not fit. I ended up getting an adapter off Amazon that fits perfectly and works with the 598’s.

I have used the microphone with my Sony WH-1000XM3. Seems to work fine. Haven't heard the quality of the microphone myself. But apparently, it sounds clear. Because the 3.5mm socket in the WH-1000XM3 in a small recession I had cut part of the plastic to use with headphones otherwise has been easy to use. Due to the round connector tends to swivel a bit.

I've used this microphone to convert my SHP9500's into a gaming headset. Overall it works well, and I tested audio recordings of myself, which sound clear and unmuffled, without picking up my breath. Although the jack seats securely, it does tend to swivel, and the microphone over time can move farther from or closer to your mouth depending on your movements. I haven't tested this with other headphones yet to see if this is a symptom of the headphone or the style of microphone. For the price compared to the v-moda, I'm happy with the purchase.

I was able to connect to the N90Q using a 2.5mm gender that included this product. When I played FPS after setting up N90Q to 5.1ch surround mode, I heard sound to another level Highly recommend if you are a gamer with compatible headphones to this cable.
