Product Description
Meistersinger is recognized for its well-crafted single-handed watches. For this run, we’re showcasing two wildly different takes on the minimal design Read More
This watch is based on modified ETA 6497 movement.
They basically took a cheap common movement (can be sourced around $100), made some modifications and slapped a $4,700 price on it.
Great craftsmanship and quality, with a price to match, and rightly so. This is one of the authentic brands making this style of product. Too rich for me; I can afford the Seagull powered automatic jumping dial vintage style watch from Geckota though which is surprisingly quite attractive, at around $300 usd, a whole lot cheaper than Meistersinger; but yes not going to be near the quality, same as the Zeno product.
What a coincidence! When I woke up this morning, the first thought that came to mind was:
I wonder where a guy could find a twenty-two hundred dollar watch with only one hand?
Last month there was a "Zeno watch Basel GMT" single hand date quartz watch on chrono24 for sale at around $70usd. not there at present; but that would have covered most wishes as for "Price" - very cheap. "Swiss" - genuine. And "non handwind every day" __quartz. Not as attractive as this one but if you are not sure _ not a big financial mistake, $2200 usd is a lot of money for one hand !
"...an inner dial leaps clockwise to the next hour after 60 minutes have elapsed."
So, in other words, the hour advances when sixty minutes have elapsed?
You don't find that kind of engineering on just any watch (or that kind of copywriting on just any site ;- )
