Got mine last week. Quality build. Sounds really good as desktop speakers. One question, What are the factors that trigger the auto shut off? I’m having trouble loving these because i have to keep turning them back on
These look incredible. I like the idea of using them as office speakers and taking them with me when I need to do a presentation. Do they come with anything to carry them in?
30 Watts of continuous power with a 10 Watt power source? I don't really believe the frequency response rating either. 50 Hz is pretty low. I'm sure it sounds fine, but $300 seems pricey.
The specs say "Frequency response: 50 Hz – 18 kHz"... I'd say at no point this little 3-inch speaker (with a 2.5-inch passive radiator) can achieve this low bass. Room response? Oh well, maybe at -12 dB...
As a side note, I always feel very suspicious of any manufacturer that does not include this simple data in the freq response specifications.
brainwaveHi there,
I don't usually put a whole bunch of tech data (that less than 1% of users care about let alone understand.) But am happy to supply you with whatever info you would like to see.
The fact is, I designed these speakers to sound awesome and everyone who has heard them agrees, including a number of well known journalists and magazines. HiFi Choice magazine said this month "“if you want high-quality stereo sound and good battery life then there are few that can rival the miniature powerhouse that is the uStream Go"
I'm pretty sure you'll like them and there will be no prizes for knowing what actual frequency is being achieved when you are tapping your toes to your favourite tunes!
Best

MitchAc1Hi Paul, Hope you can help. I have the original uStream GO but the cable came with it is not the USB Y charging cable. Is there a way that I can get a replacement cable? Thanks
