Heavy but Comfortable, Lovely Patina Developing

My first Montegrappa Fortuna fountain pen, the Copper Mule is as heavy as it looks like such a large metal-body pen would be, but it’s well balanced and surprisingly comfortable to write with. The metal section was a worry, but it has just enough texture to provide good grip with no slipping. The nib is a pleasure to write with, with a touch of feedback balancing a surprisingly soft-feeling steel nib. Not as soft as a Diplomat steel nib, but a step up from standard steel nib and in line with a lower-carat gold nib. The copper body and cap are developing a nice patina for me very quickly, but for those who prefer a polished new copper look, it does shine easily with the included polishing cloth.
