Hey, Massdrop - I'm actually on the fence for this, but yikes these pics. How about some actual real world pics on a desk or something instead of a white bg? Come on, now.
I think that the pads are probably meant for sticking to the polished side rather than the frosted side, so that the frosted side is up. But it just feels better to my palms with the polished side up.
ilovemacandcheesesame but now ironically my mouse hits the rest so I don't know if I will keep it, also the polished side of mine has a blemish on it but I might have a friend belt sand or i'll hand sand the frost away and try to use it that way and make it all polished on that side to, will see. It does feel good either way though.
Was it just mine, or were sizings in the description not the same as sent? My 60% is only 11-5/8" (11.625") not 12.8 as advertised. It's a whole inch + shorter. What gives? That's literally their only job... lol... to give you the right size. I'll be asking for refund.
They really could have done so much better if not for that logo placement. If the aesthetic they are catering towards is clean/minimal, the logo needs to be:
much smaller
placed on the back facing the lip of the keyboard, or straight up on the bottom face facing the table.
