A mediocre product in a booming and exciting true wireless market. Sound lacking in mids, muddy and lackluster bass.
Remember folks! Earphones and handphone both gotta have BT5.0 for that true wireless goodness.
Ignoring price... this just kinda works. It’s like night n’ day vs a Jabra Elite 65T I got as a refurb for $90 (both in sound and features). If some cables are ok with you, get a Jabra, or for MUCH less a Jaybird X2. If you want acceptable noise isolation, then get Plugfones Liberate which REALLY isolates.
The BE Free8 has a button on each earpiece but only the left does anything. No volume control. No transparency. All I can say is: it turns on, played, pauses, and turns off.
I will start this off by saying that I have a 2 year old OnePlus 3 and that could be the issue but if not, these are the worst headphones I have ever used. If have the headphones in and on and my phone in my hand in front of me then everything seems to be working fine except the constant white noise I hear. If I'm not holding the phone in my hand in front of me, like I put it down to my side or put it in my pocket the headphones cut out and then disconnect. I did see some early reviews where this happened but it was explained by being a preproduction unit. If this isn't common and maybe because of an older phone then that's one thing but if it's common I'm pretty upset with the performance.
