I never really understood the appeal of earbuds. It appears to me that the form factor is inferior to IEMs and is inherently flawed.

There are just as many positives when comparing either iems or ear buds. I prefer ear buds for most of my outside activities and use iems only when I want seclusion from outside sources, though I still prefer buds.

YakovI see. I've never actually used one besides the basic Apple ones, so I didn't realize there were advantages like that. I just can't get over how cheap they all look.

asigalIn truth, they're all cheaply made. There isn't much market into earbuds so finding decent pairs of buds is much harder than the vast varieties of iems.

YakovI feel that. I'm shit out of luck trying to find a decent Nexus 6P case that doesn't cost $50, so the whole market demand vs quality struggle is something I can relate to.
I hope you guys end up some good deals sooner or later.
