What does "d" mean? In other words, what's the difference between the 160 "d" nylon on the black pouch and the 250 "d' nylon on the sage pouch? Is it thickness? Shouldn't that be the same?

Wow, did you really reply only to insult me? Because you clearly didn't read the text of the ad where the MAP was explained. The bag is $48, and yes - I bought one. Thanks for explaining denier and saving my having to google that, by the way. And I still don't know why the black and grey are different thicknesses!

TofagerlLet me clarify then--"dopey" at any price!

Since I own one of these, I thought it would be good to show what larger items I can fit. I don't travel often so I don't have a large amount of accessories that I would normally put in it for reference. I wouldn't recommend this as a dedicated camera bag since it can only fit slim point-and-shoot cameras and mirrorless cameras with a small lens. What I've noticed is that the images show a different system for the anchor links, so I'm not sure if mine was the final version or vice-versa.
It doesn't, it's too wide to fit if you keep the joycons attached

Are there any design differences between black and sage? From the overview video provided, the black one seems to not have the 2 elastic loops from the product picture (sage). Is that true?

I ordered the Sage version from Massdrop and received the version with loops

rgogomThanks for chiming in. I always thought the sage had the loops and the black had the grommets before I noticed the stock photos on PD's website showed loops on black. I also didn't realize the thread for this was longer then when I initially posted, and that a lot of this was already discussed, so my bad. It still seems there is an inconsistency though for the black version as to which is the newer design: grommet or loop. Sage seems pretty set in its history of always only having loops and still has loops to this day. Its odd that PD told you the loops are old, but they told me the loops are new (for black). Regardless, the pouch works well enough, but it's just questions about product variation control and what Massdrop got.

Ya, seems lately the best deals are massdrop made, there partnerships have been really good as well.

JonnyJI haven't seen much at a great deal in a bit, in my opinion. Just depends on what you're looking for.

Just received mine yesterday, after having to have it reshipped since it wasn't available outside the US (for reasons apparently too complex to communicate to us). I love it. I don't know how they did it, but they made it the perfect size! It has room for everything I want inside of it, yet it fits inside all my bags except the 5L sling (where it really wouldn't do any good anyway). I also can't seem to be able to fill it up. I'm close to having to invent uses for things just to put it inside the bag, but that would be stupid. I have a mouse, battery, SSD, power supply, tons of cables, tons of adapters, extra nail clippers(!) and I still have room for basically whatever I need!

I'm not sure this is a deal. Same price on the PD site...

UmijinIt's 48$ once you actually ordered. They're not allowed to advertise a lower price since the other retailers would get mad at Peak Design. Yeah, I don't understand it either. Capitalism at its finest, I guess.

TofagerlThanks for clarifying. I love Peak Design and have a bunch of their gear but this had me scratching my head wondering why I would buy it here at the full retail price... that said, even though PD is expensive, I haven’t regretted one purchase of their gear.

Bought this for my trip to Iceland. Plus it’s great for carrying all of my cables and chargers and lenses for my phone. Pair it with the strap lite from peak design and you’ve got a fanny pack lol. Now I would never wear a fanny pack but it’s better than lugging around a 25 litre bag for 2 hours. The quality is is great and it’s designed really well. Plus it has plenty of straps to hold. Would’ve gotten this on md if I wasn’t leaving in a week

doobie83Would love a tiny review after your trip! Enjoy Iceland, by the way. Funny fact you should DEFINITELY mention to every icelandic person you see: They actually speak norwegian, while we norwegians now speak danish! After the black plague ravaged Norway, the danes took over and filled the upper ranks of society, gradually taking over the culture. Meanwhile, Iceland never had the plague, and kept talking our original language. Fun fact, right?

doobie83Do you have an issue with it not hanging correctly? My concern is the strap attaches to the back and it seems like that would make it hang weird.

It is ridiculous that Peak Design doesn't ship to South Korea. I have tons of their products, but there is no way I am paying the extortionate pricing here. This bag is $80 US in South Korea and that is actually the cheapest available price I could find, other sellers are selling it for more. This is true for all Peak Design here. There is no import regulation here that doesn't allow it to be imported, so it must be Peak Design that has set some limit on where they will allow their products to be shipped. I would even be happy paying $59.95 (the regular price), but $80 is outrageous. Anyways, there was a time in the past where I ordered a Capture Clip from Massdrop, but since then nothing from Peak Design will ship here, seriously annoying.

It can't be shipped to South Korea in my checkout; it says, "this item can't be shipped to South Korea" in red lettering. Maybe it allows you to choose Korea, but my delivery address for Massdrop is saved as Korea and it won't allow me to order. My message was for Peak Design. There is no import regulation disallowing the import of this product to Korea, so the decision to not allow shipment by Massdrop is a choice made by Peak Design. Yes, we can order directly from Peak Design's website; I have ordered several of my PD items that way because it ended up being cheaper than buying in Korea. But in this case, it is cheaper to buy from Massdrop than from PD's site. Anyways, my point is I wouldn't mind getting the Massdrop special price once in a while, but Massdrop can no longer send PD products to SK. If you are able to order them to SK then something is weird because I definitely cannot.

rastamandjI received an email from Peak Design and according to them it is Massdrop who has decided not to shop this to certain places. Massdrop, why wouldn't you ship this to Korea?

I use mine daily to carry cables, charging bricks and a nintendo switch. The zipper pockets for SD cards fit switch cartridges nicely. Pics below show the amount of stuff you could fit with room to spare. Any more than that and I had to start squeezing.
