delivered yesterday... tried to slice some room temperature baby Swiss, after minor assembly. The first piece did not slice completely through. The wire was still a touch loose despite fully tightening the nut. The second attempt broke the blob of metal off the end of the wire That little blob is what holds the wire in the tensioning nut/handle. So unless this company finds a more secure way of holding this wire than what appears to be a little brass blob, braced onto a stainless wire... pass on this product. It just doesn't cut it

Ouch. I thought this looked interesting, worth checking out at least...
