Okay, am I missing something here? I just received the kit and it looks like no one did ANY quality control on the PCB.
There are extra holes all over the board, in multiple places they overlap with vias for the key switches. Also there multiple locations where the footprint for one key switch overlaps with another. Is the board supposed to look like a prototype? Because that's what it looks like was shipped.

kgreenPretty sure that's by design, to allow you to choose what kind of layout you want. I've seen many boards that have overlaying vias and switch footprints.

Von_BraunLooking closer I see a few different spots on my board that would not have passed an inspection at the electronics manufacturer I work for, were we apply the IPC-A-610 standard.
The solder joints on the USB-mini port have almost no solder on the leads or pads:

No mention of a controller pre-installed or included that I can see. Anything bigger than 60% diy is hard to find, but these prices are way too high for what you get and what the reviews show as a series of manufacturing defects.

Wolfie3018"Fully Programmable" would require a controller, so you can assume one is pre-installed. I believe Red Scarf uses the Atmel ATmega32U4.

Would be great if had a split-spacebar, RGB backlighting (not current glow), USB-C, and black doubleshot PBT keycaps. This is including arrows and numberpad

I wish I could review this but I bought mine secondhand unused. I LOVED this board. I only sold it to buy an M60. I had the deluxe version which was heavy af and felt great to type on. Flashing a layout was kind of a bitch, but I had no issues with it. I even used the stock stabilizers on it and with lube they felt perfectly fine. I also desoldered MOD-M switches and replaced them with tealios and had no issues with the PCB at that point either.
