Coming from someone that knows turntables, this is a good modern turntable for the money. Just a pity that it doesn't have anti-skating and an Audio Technica cartridge, but I think that only comes in at the higher price points in the market.

LuckyLuke575It does have an Audio Technica cartridge. The Carbon is a rebranded AT3600 with a carbon cantilever.

LuckyLuke575This has an at cartridge, it's basically identical to the AT3600, also when replacing the cartridge, you can save 50 bucks and just get the audio technica.

tooitchyNice. It's weird when the manufacturers do that with the component branding; they'd be better off just highlighting the benefit of being able to use an off the shelf component as it were lol
