these work really well in my tight fitting motorcycle helmet. they are comfortable for wearing for long trips. I recommend them. I tried a few others but they extended outside the ear canal, these do not and they stay put without working their way out over time.

Do not fit my <medium> ear canal well at all. Prefer the fit of the Rooth clear silicone model. Also found that, when inserting, if you don't center your fingertip on the hard center core properly, it flicks off of your finger - stunning your eardrum with an ear-ringing shock wave. As with the other Rooth plugs, the graspy bit has to be oriented such that it stands clear of your outer ear. If inserted so that the tab is flush to your ear it can be a bear to extract. Giving the EARasers a try and hoping that the center extraction tab on those is friendlier.

I have MS and am missing out on things because I get bouts of sensory overload. I tried the foam earplugs to help block out the sound. It works until someone tries talking to me and all I hear are muffled sounds. I'm going to give these a try.

20+ DB seems a bit excessive for concert use, but I do like the carrying case.

ukfan3108Yeah, Rooth's little tubes are pretty nice. Mine needs a bit of lube on the threads though, squeaks like nobody'a business. Shame they don't seal well. Hopefully the Etyplugs I ordered fit in the Rooth tube.
I didn't get this model of Rooth earplug, I got the kind that was on a previous drop, the triple-flanges.
