For those of you having issues with clamping force, you can stretch these fairly easily. I use my studio monitors, they are about 8 inches wide and I just extend the headband all the way and put them on like the speaker is listening to them. It has reduced the clamping force for me without making them too loose. The headband will not break.
These cans are really fun, great with a good portable amp. Just don't expect audiophile sound and you will be happy. They round out my collection really well.

We have some great news to share with everyone. Our vendor has informed us that the bulk shipment was picked up on Monday, and it is currently en route to our warehouse! Transit time typically takes about a week, so we are expecting to receive the order by early next week. Once received, our warehouse team will work hard to turn around your individual orders as quickly as possible.
Expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 11/17 or sooner if something comes up.
Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Sennheiser HD7 DJ Headphone and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where we'll break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 11/16.
Rest assured that we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 11/10.
I have a quick question for those of you who are more familiar with these headphones. I've been looking at getting a pair of Sennheiser headphones & now these show up & I'm really interested. Although I do like to use my headphones on the go occasionally. In the description it says that these headphones "sound great straight out of a device". I'm skeptical, will a portable device even power these? If so, how well will they sound on a scale from 1-10? I know these will sound great plugged into some gear but I'd like to know how they or will they sound out of a device?
Thanks
PgomezAt 95 ohms impedance, most mobile devices should be able to drive them _relatively_ well — you'll most likely just have to turn the volume on your device up higher than you usually would with headphones that are marketed as being "for" mobile devices (which are typically around 16-32 ohms).
FWIW, I used to use my old Sony MDR-V6 (63 ohms) and Sennheiser HD500 (150 ohms) to listen to music on my phone quite often, and they were fine. I just ended up having the volume on my phone set near the maximum, whereas with the ATH-M50x (38 ohms) I've been using more recently, the point where Android gives you an "unsafe volume" warning (~70%) is generally the loudest I listen to them (unless I'm in a particularly loud environment).
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
to all those who want to ship internationally, just use a ship forwarding company such as shipito or myus. I myself use shipito. They give you an american address at their warehouse and you have this headphone shiped to that address, then it will be shipped to your country. This is quite common, you guys should check it out "ship forwarding"
