After my last upgrade, I went to play some Tidal toons. Instead of loading, it gave me a large bar code. I have no idea what to do with that. Until I figure out how to log into tidal, they will be a road DAP only.
Any advise?

I have mine for a little while. The sound is not up to my dx220 but that is expected. I have yet to install the update. I expect ill have to use my computer as trying the update in network mode gives me an "out of memory" error.
The one thing that has me stumped is accessing my server. Nothing gives me so much as a hint as to how. There is a wifi and dlna that are both on. There is an apple airplay that I do not use and is off. Nothing seems to give me access to the server.
Buttons might be nice to a new user or a child but it gives me little information, flexibility or ways to dig down and find my darn server.
I'm not sure what I can do with network access as it will not access my computer or server. I'm sure I've overlooked something under a different name or something, or at least I hope so.

Does this have a microphone? I'm looking for a good DAP that can also record music I play decently well. Any ideas?

I have just received my shanling M2X. I am trying to log onto tidal through the app on the shanling but it doesn’t accept the username and the password which I know is correct. Am I doing something wrong?

Stingray58AThere is a firmware update that may help your issue. The upcoming firmware update mentioned 'Fixed Tidal'. That was all that was said tho. The version is V3.0 and said to be available on 11-20-20 but I was able to download it. Towards the bottom of the page, Shanling also has available previous firmware updates. When I first got my M2X some time in the past, I had issues with the wifi which inturn affects Tidal connectivity. The latest firmware at the time did correct it tho. Hopefully this firmware update will help you.

Stingray58AI’d say it would get “loud enough,” but it would sound weird. Might do the HD 58X well though.
