Decent knife
I have many laminated and folded knives. For me this is a great utility knife for picnic (due to sheath). It takes and holds a good edge. The core could perhaps be harder.

Fantastic Knife.
This knife has quickly become one of my favorite knives. There's this hazy finish on the clading (I think it's powder damascus?) and I love the way the light hits it. The handle is beautiful. There's this slight depth that you can see in person and, of course, it feels nice to hold. OH! and the blade is very sharp. It's the sharpest kitchen knife I've used and it's an absolute joy to chop things up. The only negative thing I could say about the knife is that the spine is a little bit sharp. Depending on how you hold this knife may cause a little discomfort over a looong period of time. It isn't a deal breaker for me. Last thing is to remember that it is a 6.5 inch blade. I find it to be a great size for me. If I had the guts to take this to work, I'd find it to be a little small for some tasks, but still capable of doing everything I'd need it to do. I think this knife is a must have if you're looking for something like this.

I have now 3 knives by Sharp Edge and I don't know which one is more beautiful. I look forward to chopping every night as I make dinner.

Cuts like a surgical instrument. Stays sharp haven’t had to strip it yet after weeks of daily use.

A great knife if you know what it's for
I've been using this knife for over six months and have been loving it. This is a fairly delicate knife that is not a replacement to your all-around 8" chef Knife. I do use it for lots of tasks, but keep my other knifes close by. I mostly use it to cut larger vegetables, such as onions, peppers, and potatoes. With the weight of the knife being so light, you will have to push the knife though what you're cutting. My years of onion cutting have conditioned me to rely on the weight of the blade to assist and not having that here really gives an interesting feeling of control over how you're cutting. I was quite worried about chipping the blade when I first got this knife due to how hard it is (62 HRC), but after six months, there are still no chips or even noticeable cosmetic wear. I wouldn't use this knife to cut carrots (for multiple reasons) or bone in meats, but I do cut peppers with hard seeds and I heard of that damaging blades, but not mine! If you know how to take care of a knife and you understand this knife has limits, then I would recommend this to you. It looks better than the photos and what it can do, it does better than any knife I own.
