Ahh the Dumas. I want one of those and the new Bradner. I just bought a green Croft on watches.com for $256 with 20% off, so much better than paying the full $320. I missed it's delivery today though, so I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to check it out and give my opinion!!! I have everything from a $20 Timex, to a VERY expensive and RARE Rolex Date Tiffany and Co, and I honestly like my $80-$400 watches the best! I've said this numerous times before, but I prefer those cheaper watches to anything expensive. The high prices ones NEVER get worn, because I'm afraid of damaging them. And the $80-$300 watches might not be made of 18k gold, but they're cheap and durable enough to handle just about any situation. If they're damaged, you get a replacement, or just chalk it up and move on to another one in my collection! My MOST worn watches out of the 30+ I own, are my Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster Diver BN0150-28E, that I got for a daily deal on Amazon for $113, shipping included, and I have a StrapCode/Miltat Super Engineer II black PVD SS bracelet on it and wear it ALL of the time. I'm also a HUGE fan of my Casio MTD-1079 black dial/bezel, which has the awesome Super Illuminator light on it. Other daily worn watches are a Stuhrling Aviator (3196.3), which has the black and green dial. I hated the stock green leather band, and put a great looking $30 HStrap PVD Black bracelet on it and love it now. Also, my Citizen Eco-Drive PRT with the taupe dial and brown leather NATO Strap is awesome and VERY comfortable and casual looking!!! So my more expensive Rolex Date Tiffany and Co and my super rare Accutron Empire 28B03 are both beautiful watches, but they just never get much wrist time because they're so expensive!!! So what I'm getting at is that you DON'T need a high-end luxury watch to enjoy the hobby or have a really great watch, just buy whatever YOU like and makes you happy 😉😎👍⌚ That said though, I'd NEVER pass down a Romain Gauthier Logical One if someone just handed me one, or I could actually afford to buy one myself! The chain link on the dial of that is both unique AND keeps very accurate time, and is probably the nicest and most unique and badass looking watch made for MY tastes, and I much prefer Diver's style Watches over a fancier, dressy watch like the Logical One! Anyone have $110,000 I can have that they don't need lol 😁
