Made in the Tactile Turn shop in Richardson, Texas, the Slider and Glider pens are machined from solid metal for reliable durability and a great feel in the hand. Sliders tend to fit better in shirt pockets without sticking out, while Gliders may be more comfortable for writers with larger hands. What sets them apart is their bolt action, with a shape unlike any other pen out there. It takes one fluid motion to advance or retract the refill. Because the surfaces of both the interior part and the inside surface have been carefully machined to be extra smooth, the action feels super satisfying. All parts are made of the same material as the body, except for the clip, which is stainless steel, and the bolt on the brass and copper models, which is also made of stainless steel.
Note: The base price is for the Slider pen or the Glider pen in brass or any of eight different colors of anodized aluminum. If you’d like, upgrade to stainless steel (+ $6), copper (+ $8), or titanium (+ $16). The slightly shorter Slider fits Parker-style refills, while the slightly longer Glider fits G2-style refills. For a full list of compatible refills for each pen, see the Specs section below.
