2-Way Studio Monitor With Kevlar Cone & Bi-Amped Design

A simple but solid active speaker, the Tascam VL-S5 offers an inexpensive entry point into studio mixing. It’s equipped with a 5.25-inch Kevlar cone woofer and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, and each component is driven by a discrete amplifier for clean, transparent audio and a seamless, natural response. Delivering even frequency reproduction from 60 Hz to 22 kHz, the system has a crossover frequency of 3.2 kHz that maximizes the efficiency of both drivers while moving phase issues out of the critical midrange. Finally, the magnetically shielded design allows safe placement near personal computers and video monitors, while the balanced XLR/TRS input creates a low-noise connection.

Note: This drop is for a single speaker.
