Notable for versatile connectivity and DSD compatibility, the TEAC UD-301 packs three components into its sleek, all-metal chassis. The dual built-in BurrBrown DACs convert your digital music into detailed analog sound, with support for PCM files up to 24 bit/192 kHz , a 192 kHz up-conversion option, and 2.8 and 5.6 MHz DSD native playback. Two MUSES 8920 op-amps deliver big, smooth, hiss-free sound to everything from your HD800 headphones to your SE846 IEMs. The UD-301 also works as a fully functioning preamp—connect it to your favorite power amp or active speakers, and you’ve got an impressive desktop system.

Connectivity for Personal & Professional Use
The front panel features a power switch, volume switch, and input selector, which you can use to adjust up-sampling functions, power-sleep modes, and more. On the rear panel, you’ll find digital coaxial, optical, and USB inputs, as well as a standard stereo jack, an RCA balanced output, and an XLR balanced output that can be connected to balanced headphone amps and other professional audio equipment. Finally, the UD-301 uses a toroidal transformer-based power supply for high-speed signal processing, and dual monaural circuitry throughout to ensure pure stereo playback with optimum channel separation.
