Sleek, Stylish, Delish Coffee
This was a gift to my wife, who thought the price was ridiculous for a coffee maker... it's not cheap, but one cup and she was a believer. It was quick and easy to assemble, and had a fresh pot 15min after opening the box. It's neat to see the water bubbling up the column while brewing, comes out at the right temp and makes a smooth cuppa joe.

Makes great coffee, carafe keeps it hot for hours, easy to clean and use
Makes delicious coffee. Carafe keeps coffee hot for a long time - sometimes I bring the whole thing to work and drink it hot throughout the day. The water reservoir is no-nonsense, and works as it should. The drip cone is surprisingly easy to clean (I use the moccamaster branded #4 white conical filters). I haven't had to yet, but I hear urnex dezcal works great to clean the carafe (anecdotal evidence only). I grind to a #20 setting on my barratza encore - tastes great to me. The coffee is not quite as good as what comes out of my pour-over, but definitely significantly better than the $30 drip machine at my office. Only thing that keeps this product from being 5 stars is that the carafe-to-cup experience can be a bit tricky. When the carafe is running low, it's difficult to get a strong, singular pour. If you're pouring into a mug, you'll usually have no problems. However, I often pour into a double-walled insulated thermos, which has a quarter size opening on the top and I often spill a few spurts during the process. If you're set on a moccamaster and price is an issue, just buy it OK? If price isn't an issue, or you're still deciding between brands, I'm choosing to neither encourage nor discourage you from buying this because of the problems above. Honestly, if they fixed the pouring experience, it would be a 5/5. Edit: The automatic drip works - I'm just stupid and didn't see it :) For others that are commenting that their automatic drip works, inspect your brewer closely for a piece of plastic that should make contact with the side of the drip cone.

Meh
I have only brewed one pot so far, but I was not impressed. My Ninja coffee maker makes as good a pot of coffee. I found the brewer a bit cumbersome. There were no instructions about the arm that goes from the brewer to the coffee basket. It is intuitive, but I feared I might break something trying to attach it - does it screw on or do I press it down to attach? It is very difficult to get the coffee basket on and off to fill/empty coffee grounds. The paper filters have to be manipulated to fit just right. The carafe does not have a spout so coffee kind of goes everywhere when you pour it. It's cool to watch, though. Pricey for a so-so and cumbersome coffee brewer.

Received wrong product, VERY cheap feeling
Received the most recent drop today, only to find the product is mostly plastic. Only non-plastic (or acrylic, the water reservoir is acrylic not glass as I had hoped) parts are the base and carafe. Plastic does not even have a solid feel to it. Not only is the quality a huge let down, but the product was packaged incorrectly. Advertised is the CDGT version with "Automatic drip-stop," this is accomplished by having a spring loaded arm that engages with the brew basket when the carafe is placed under the basket, releasing the coffee from the basket into the carafe. Well the arm mechanism that engages with the carafe is completely absent, there is nothing that depresses the basket, allowing coffee to flow into the carafe. This is likely because the brewer itself is for the version where the brew basket has a manually adjustable flow setting. I am very disappointing with this purchase

Still new, will update later, but so far appears to function as stated.
There are definitely some parts of the machine that are not sturdy; it also has some design quirks that can be overlooked after a week's worth of coffee making. We're still experimenting with paper vs. gold-filters, as well as grinding levels and various coffee blends. Have absolutely no regrets with regard to Machine, but would like to wait a bit (maybe 6 months) before writing a definitive review.
