While Tin HiFi’s all-new 12-millimeter planar-diaphragm drivers are the stars of the show, the P2’s additional design upgrades put it above its high-performing predecessor. Hardware is one of the big things that separates Tin HiFi products from the competition, but it’s not the only thing. The brand’s design choices and exceptional manufacturing techniques also keep each release performing to the highest standards. In the P2 IEM, the 12-millimeter planar-diaphragm drivers feature precisely placed voice coils to evenly distribute pressure on the diaphragm, maximizing resolution. Supplementing the drivers, redesigned stainless steel housings help to optimize acoustics and widen the P2’s soundstage, while ensuring comfort. Tying it all together, a 6N OCC 2.5-millimeter balanced cable connects to re-engineered 2-pin jacks to reliably transmit signal without any loss of detail.
