Will this DAC play SACD's through it???? Please help!!!

Bob3600SACD is a physical format. So no, you need a cd player for that. It does support dsd, which is what's on a SACD

NoldirThanks for the reply. If you look I said "Play through it". I have a Lower Priced Peachtree DAC and you can't play an SACD through it. Every time I want to play an SACD I have to pull the cables from the Peachtree and put them on my Marantz CD/SACD player. Kind of a pain. That is why I asked about being able to play an SACD Through it. The question still stands:) Thanks

Bob3600I believe there is no such thing as dsd out from a SACD player. So no DAC will help you with that

Bob3600I read somewhere else that it only works through USB or via Toslink......I tried hooking up my SACD player but only have a coaxial output so it doesn't work but CD's do work. A little PO'd.
