Featuring an ergonomic body, compact headstock, and classic sunburst finish, the Traveler Guitar Sonic L-22 guitar is 17 percent shorter and 45 percent lighter than a full-size electric—all while preserving the full-scale playing experience. Listen through your headphones or amp with the built-in headphone amplifier, and cycle through clean, boost, overdrive, and distortion tones using the custom tap-pot. Along with two full-size humbuckers, a three-way pickup selector, and an adjustable Tune-o-matic-style bridge, you’ll find an aux-in for plugging in your mobile device. The L-22 weighs just over 5 pounds and fits easily into aircraft overhead bins with the included gig bag.
Note: This drop is for new B-stock instruments. Traveler Guitar has very stringent quality-control procedures, and a tiny imperfection in the finish can qualify a guitar for B-stock. These guitars may have minor cosmetic imperfections that will not affect playability. This drop is limited to 30 units.
Inventor Leon Cox built the very first Traveler Guitar in his garage workshop in Redlands, California, in 1992, using old tuning machines, spare conduit, and wood salvaged from a discarded bar top. The first model was sold in the local music store and on sales trips throughout California and Arizona. Today, Traveler Guitar’s product line includes a range of electric and acoustic guitars, available in 30 countries worldwide.
