Today mine is broken... ( Same thing. Orange cable. I enjoyed the sound of it so much. Especially native DSD... Did someone try to disassemble and replace the cable? Any suggestions?...

TonnyBGoodfixed it, but there is a trick, you need to use the original connector just solder new cables on it
I can make a post on how to fix it where I get into into it more, with photos of steps that I took
