It features a rigid aluminum enclosure and a pair of 12AX7B tubes, which modders can replace with vintage alternatives to achieve their desired sound signature. All the components are of the highest quality—from the Japanese Nippon Chemi-Con capacitor filters to the enamel-isolated pure OFC copper wiring—and the class-A sound is at once warm, silky smooth, transparent, and precise. Finally, the MS23B delivers an output of 0.5 volts with active RIAA equalization, and uses a DC filament power supply for optimal hum and noise reduction.
