Alcantara are super comfy. Weird cut though compared to stock X00 pads though with the fat part at the top instead of the back. I tried to rotate them but the hole is oval and ears don't fit with the fat part in the rear.

Wade67jweI got these pads and I think I figured this out, in the description it says that these "contour" to the shape of your head, which is why it tapers off at the top (or bottom depending on which way you rotate the pad). They aren't angled in the traditional sense from back to front, in the style of the TH-610/900.
