anyone know how do these compare to the Monoprice earbuds that sold for $8 a couple of weeks ago?

pLaStiKMaNNever owned a pair of the PK3's (thus why I'm buying them!) but I currently use those Monoprice ones daily at school (I have the black version). The Monoprice ones are a steal for under $10. The cable on them is pretty tangle prone, and they can be a bit akward to wear as you should wear the cord over-the-ear to reduce cable friction noise. That being said, I would definitely recommend them if you have $10 to spare. I think I will be moving onto the PK3's though, guess we'll see when they get here. I like the isolation of IEM's but the Monoprice 8320/9927 can be a bit of a hassle to get on and straighten the cord out. Looking forward to getting my PK3's :)

pLaStiKMaNThese ones beat Monoprice ones fair and square. I don't think anyone even comes near them in terms of sound quality and their price.
But again - monoprice are $6 IEMs and these are $29 regular earbuds. It all depends on your budget and preferences, really. It's a bit hard to compare them.
