Very great switch to have in your arsenal. If you’re looking for a nice starter switch in customs keyboards it maybe a tad expensive, but if you’re not wanting to go down a path looking for the perfect switch this is a good one to get. Currently have these in a JD40 board.
One of my favorite switches as a linear lover. Super smooth right out of the box although I do like lubing and filming for a slightly deeper sound profile.
with more and more competition for premium switches, zeal continues to ask the highest price for theirs. and for what? these switches aren't even great until they're lubed, filmed, AND spring-swapped. why do all that work when you can get cheaper silent tactiles like Durock Shrimps or Boba U4s and have to do less work to make them good?
Very smooth but nowadays, there are better alternatives
At the time of my purchase, Zeal was the topdog when it came to the most tactile and the smoothest switches, now you can get even better products for a fraction of the price that Zeal was charging. Zeal's original prices were outright criminal.
Such nice silent switches. They are super smooth while still having a very distinct tactile bump. I love the feel and all the sounds they don't make. These Are my Favourites, yet.
"why would I get silent tactiles? Don't they just feel like rubber domes?" Yes, and no. Silent, and bouncy, but Zilents are smoother, sharper, and way less mushy. They feel just like Zealios, but bouncy and quiet.
