I'm using the smallest tips and they just barely fit in my ears; the left is worse and is a very tight fit. Is there anything else which might fit better?

I got my ADV 747's for 6 months now, and there is an issue with them. The noise-cancelling cuts in and out, and a screeching sound every now and then, and I've been treating these headphones pretty nicely, always pitting them in the hard case, never really straining the wires. Also, it seem like the portion of wire covering after the battery is somewhat loose, and there's a give in the wire that I don't think should be there.

I'm confused about how to wear these. First of all, I expect Red to mean Right, but the side with the red tubing appears to be the left. Second, are the wires supposed to go up and over your ears? Or hang down. I can't find any images of anyone wearing these.

I was wrong about the left right being backwards. I think there was something wrong with my sound software because after rebooting, I am unable to reproduce the channels being backwards. Thanks for the help!

Haha, thanks for noticing! The 747 will forever be one of the greatest creations of mankind, there is no doubt in my mind.
