Just had my 3-year old (out of warranty) AKG K7XX repaired for free. Easiest RMA I've ever done. No hassle. Threw in new headpads even when I didn't ask for them. Thank you Harman International Industries (AKG is part of them). Quality service buys consumer loyalty. It's simple.

WurdleDo they fix transparent plastic suspension pieces for the headband? Just curious because I've seen posts about those failing due to fatigue. That's awesome that they serviced your pair!

erickongDon't know. Wouldn't be surprised if they did, the whole process was painless. That's something I certainly can't say for GIGABYTE products, which I LOATHE, and I urge everyone to look at my post history to understand my unending hate for Gigabyte and their DISGUSTING customer service. HATE GIGABYTE. HATE HATE HATE. But, as I get older, I learn to focus less on my COMPLETE AND ABSOLUTE HATE FOR GIGABYTE and enjoy these small respites from companies like AKG and recently Barista Warrior (thank you for the free, stainless steel cream pitcher). In this era of companies who simply give no fucks (COX, Fedex, GIGABYTE, American Airlines, etc.) those who do are like finding oasis on the exotic deserts of the moon. Completely unexpected but sorely, sorely necessary.

TeerhandUSA. (Sorry for the late reply, my wife left me and my life was in shambles. Still, however, a more pleasant experience than dealing with GIGABYTE.)
