Would this be a bad mic to use for gaming or teleconferences? Is it going to pick up a lot of keyboard noise?

TolmanlandThis style mic is intended to pick up a decent field of sound around it. If you want more isolation you'd want a directional mic, something more like a Shure SM58, etc. If just gaming or doing teleconferences any cheap mic on a stand will do.

TolmanlandI would just get a comfortable headset for gaming or teleconferences, honestly. I've been using everything from $14 Walmart cheapo headsets to $80 Skullcandy SLYR and similarly priced Razer for both voice calls and gaming. I like the Razer best.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the gain on this mic? It seems quite too high and picks up pretty much all background noise within a ~10M range of itself.
Windows level tab only shows a volume modifier.

We just spoke to the vendor and the units that were pulled from other channels will be arriving at our warehouse on 9/26 barring any delays en route. We will update the group when the bulk order is broken down and individual orders are ready to go.
